On Monday 15 th May 2023, the Memory Cafe celebrated the King’s Coronation with a party.
Guests enjoyed a delicious buffet made by Little Bay Eatery. Christine brought the buffet down to us and even stayed to give a helping hand. Thank you to the local businesses and individuals who donated prizes for the raffle –
Sue Vince was presented with flowers and gifts. She has been a Trustee and an organiser of Memory Cafe for several years, the party was her last cafe before retiring. Sue Cox has now taken over as the organiser and she has a programme of events arranged for the year. Starting with skittles at the next cafe on the 5th June.
Waterlooville Community Centre run a bi monthly cafe for people living with memory loss, dementia and mild cognitive impairments. We provide a safe, entertaining environment where people can enjoy the company of others and enjoy organised events such as visiting bands, games, sing-a-longs.
