The Waterlooville Area Community Association (WACA) was established by the community, for the community, in 1974 but became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in April 2016.
WACA CIO is the governing body that make decisions about the Centre, including finances, based on recommendations from the Community Centre’s staff.
Our mission is to provide a safe environment for learning and leisure, which is accessible and affordable for everyone. We strongly believe that the community spirit is at the heart of our British way of life; at Waterlooville Community Centre we aim to encourage this philosophy and strengthen this belief regardless or race, colour or creed.

Car Parking — The yellow bays behind the Centre are free for our users. There are 40 bays including 3 disabled spaces. See Reception if more spaces are needed.

Membership — An affordable annual membership is available to everyone. Membership runs from January to December, costs £5 and a form can be downloaded
Disabled — In addition to the car parking bays, we have disabled toilet facilities, Reception is fitted with a hearing loop, and all our rooms are wheelchair accessible.
Alcohol — We operate a fully licensed bar for private events and members/groups using the centre. Under no circumstances must alcohol be brought onto the premises.

Our Centre & Finance Manager is never too busy to deal with your needs. She get things done... Pop in and have a chat... Technically Angela is responsible for all room bookings and invoicing so she will be your first point of contact when hiring a room or dealing with payments. Angela would love to hear from you if you think your group or club would like to be included in the diverse range of activities already hosted by the Centre, or something new and different for our community. Alway a happy-ideas-type-of-person to give help and advice on start-up incentives plus support with advertising.
As always, your Community Centre has opportunities if you would like to be part of the action on a voluntary basis. We can always accommodate people with office skills; maintenance capabilities; gardening experience; or to train in bar work. The possibilities are endless!
So, if you have a day or even just a few hours to spare on a regular basis, think of volunteering at your Community Centre and come and make a real difference!

The new Sainsbury’s at Waterlooville has donated funds and materials to the Centre. These donations, coupled with those from Waitrose and ASDA, has made a significant difference to the services and facilities we offer to our local residents.
ASDA continues to work closely with the Community Centre and has made a significant contribution to our kitchen facilities, ensuring we are able to offer residents a subsidised lunch club. Local businesses in Waterlooville are always incredibly supportive when it comes to contributions for fund-raising events.
